Where do you live?

I live in Moscow, Russia. Moscow and Russia are very influential for my style & designs.

When did you begin designing textiles? What inspired you to get started?

I graduated from Moscow Textile Academy after studying textile design. From my childhood I always loved to sketch and paint. My first experience in textile design was in 2005 when I worked for a Russian fashion company in Guangzhou, China.

What is your preferred medium?

My preferred mediums are watercolor, colored pencils, digital mediums. I like to mix them all together.

Where do you find inspiration?

The sources of my inspiration are great world art including fine art, ethnic, abstract, and digital. Russian culture and art also inspire me. My favorite artists include Kandinsky, Klimt, Van Gogh, Miro, Mondrian, Picasso, Derain – on and on! In terms of textile design, I’m inspired by Hermes, Prada, and Gucci.
