Isn’t this print divine? It was love at first sight here at WeaveUp! This statement piece is so regal and sophisticated. The allover, organic patterning has an almost embroidered look, like a classic tapestry coat. At the same time, the colorway keeps this jacket contemporary: teal blue, sandy yellow and pops of muted orange upon a navy backdrop. We think our Matte Chenille or Velvet fabrics would perfectly embody the richness of this coat’s look. Check out a few of our runway reinterpretations below.

This knitwear dress is the epitome of athleisure. The crew neck and sleeve cuffs give it a sportswear twist while the pattern is ultimate runway chic. This print has a really unusual, scalloped texture that is reminiscent of broken shells or perhaps the scattered imprints of shoe treads. Why not try creating your own athleisure wear with our Stretch Knit fabric? We’ve worked our magic on a selection of our multidirectional linear designs below to get you inspired.

Vivienne Westwood

This Westwood dress has just a hint of the 80’s with the voluminous, broad shoulders and gold color. It’s almost like the reboot of the television show, Dynasty! We experimented with some of our textural designs to try and recreate this gorgeous fabric’s crinkled sheen. We recommend combining them with our Satin or Sparkle Chenille fabrics to amp up the luxurious feel. Check out our results below.

VB is really killing it right now: not only did she debut a collection in New York last week, she also released a collection from her companion brand in London. We love how this look walks the line between the loungewear-as-outerwear trend and a sportier, high-end tracksuit. Take a page out of VB’s book and try creating your own designer-inspired duds. We’ve picked out a few of our contemporary weave patterns and customized them in this chic navy and beige palette. Final step: apply these designs to our Sateen or Luxury Satin fabrics for effortless draping, silky softness, and high sheen.

Temperley London

Kim Weston Arnold / Indigital.tv / Source

This Temperley dress is a showstopper! The large repeat reminds us of classic silk scarves, while the pattern itself is a myriad of motifs, colors, and textures. While this fabric is undeniably unique, we think you can attain a similar look with some crafty customization. We selected designs that paid homage to the floral notes, almost kaleidoscopic shapes, and general contemporary style. The cerulean, tangerine, and pink colorway serves to reinforce our inspiration. Our Taffeta Slub fabric would be a great way to incorporate sheen in a lightweight material that nevertheless holds its shape well.
